What You'll Do:
Novotny CPA Group is currently looking for an Audit Staff Accountant to join our team at either our Norton Shores or Grand Rapids location! In this role you will get to...
- Learn from and work collaboratively with a team that serves accounting and audit clients (no not-for-profit or governmental work) by developing your skills in the pre-engagement planning, execution, and delivery of the final product.
- Focus on work across many industries with a wide range of complexity, scale, and scope.
- Build and create client relationships to support the growth of our audit business.
- Learn and utilize new and emerging technologies and audit tools.
Our ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- The desire to pursue an CPA license or have an active CPA license
- 0-3 years of relevant audit experience
- Basic understanding of US GAAP and GAAS procedures and standards
- The ability to effectively work with changing industry regulations, manage workflow, meet multiple deadlines with concurrent engagements, and maintain excellent internal/external communication.
- The ability to work collaboratively with other team members.
- Strong intellectual curiosity with a desire to learn from the best.
