Our high-volume Service Department needs to hire an Assistant Service Manager/ASM to assist the Service Manager in hiring, training and managing the activities of Service Department staff, meet performance targets, and ensure exceptional customer service is practiced. Ideal applicants will have excellent managerial/leadership skills in a high-volume setting, experience achieving profitability, and high levels of customer/employee satisfaction and retention. Auto Service experience is required.

Responsibilities - Assistant Service Manager/ASM:

• Train and mentor Service Advisors and Technical staff, advise customers on auto repair/maintenance costs and options, schedule appointments for service work and more!
• Follow vehicle status from service bay entry to completion
• Review work order with customer to ensure satisfaction
• Ensures consistent follow-ups to increase customer loyalty and CSI
• Solves problems and meets predetermined service and sales objectives
• Evaluate staff and workflow
• Creates work schedules and maintains accounting of Service Technicians' productivity
• Ensures proper maintenance and repair of all equipment.

Qualifications/Requirements - Assistant Service Manager/ASM:

• Automotive Assistant Service Manager/ASM/Service Advisor experience is required
• Basic automotive operational knowledge
• Good computer, customer service and communication skils
• Team builder with good managerial skills
• Basic understanding of business management
• Must pass pre-employment screening
