The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a wide range of auto body repairs on vehicles that have sustained damage. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong technical skills, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and evaluate vehicle damage to determine necessary repair methods.
- Perform structural repairs, including frame alignment, panel replacement, and dent removal.
- Repair and replace damaged parts, including fenders, hoods, doors, and bumpers.
- Sand, prime, and prepare surfaces for painting.
- Perform refinishing and painting tasks, ensuring a seamless and high-quality finish.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure timely completion of repairs.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members regarding repair status and any additional work required.
- Continuously update knowledge of industry best practices and new technologies.
- Proven experience as an Auto Body Technician or similar role.
- Strong understanding of auto body repair techniques, materials, and tools.
- Ability to use specialized equipment, including frame machines, welders, and spray guns.
- Excellent attention to detail and precision in work.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Must be within driving distance to Pear River, LA.
