About the Job
We are looking for a skilled Auto Glass Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in installing, repairing, and replacing auto glass, with a strong focus on safety and customer satisfaction. This role requires technical expertise as well as the ability to communicate effectively with customers.Key Responsibilities:
Install and Repair: Perform high-quality installations and repairs of auto glass for various vehicle makes and models, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Assess Damage: Evaluate damage to wind shields and other auto glass to determine the appropriate repair or replacement procedures.
Customer Interaction: Communicate clearly with customers regarding services provided, costs, and maintenance tips to ensure a positive experience.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies during all installations and repairs, maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of services performed, including details of the work completed and parts used.
Equipment Maintenance: Ensure tools and equipment are properly maintained and in good working order.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; certification or training in auto glass repair preferred.
Previous experience as an auto glass technician or in a related field is strongly preferred.
Knowledge of auto glass products and installation techniques.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
