A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN AUTO PAINT SHOP ASSISTANT
As an Auto Paint Shop Assistant, you assist our painter by retrieving and inspecting cars for damage. Each day, you work to improve productivity and turn out more volume and better quality paint jobs on the vehicles that come through our shop. You organize vehicles that need to be painted, keeping track of the priority and deadlines for each vehicle. Working closely with our painters, you learn the basics of automotive touch-up paint. Throughout each day, you keep the paint booth and our customers' cars clean and organized. Your satisfaction comes from getting paid to learn new skills and work with cars!
QUALIFICATIONS FOR AN AUTO PAINT SHOP ASSISTANT
- Valid driver's license
- Good driving record
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to work outside in variable weather

WORK SCHEDULE FOR AN AUTO PAINT SHOP ASSISTANT
This full-time, entry-level position typically works Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some work on the weekends as needed.
