About the Job
Selectek is partnering with a firm near Austell, Georgia to hire an AutoCAD Drafter/Designer on a contract-to-direct hire basis. Candidates will design shop drawings of aluminum components for a company that specializes in canopies and covers.
Expected Pay Range: $25-$30 per hour
Location: Austell, GA
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00a - 5:00p
Job Duties:
- Prepare shop drawings for aluminum components
- Create and edit bills of material
- Perform revisions based on mark-ups and changes requested by the end client
- In time, candidates ideally will take on more responsibilities and work directly with end clients
Job Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in creating shop drawings or fabrication drawings of metal panels or aluminum extrusions
- Experience with AutoCAD (2D and 3D)
- Solid mechanical understanding
In addition to these requirements, candidates must be eligible to work in the United States as Selectek is unable to provide sponsorship or work visa documentation.
