AutoCAD Drafter/Designer - Selectek, Inc.

Description:
Selectek is seeking a motivated Drafter/Designer with a strong background in AutoCAD to join our team in Fort Wayne, IN. This role will be pivotal in supporting our design center, which serves six plants. We welcome candidates ranging from entry-level to those with up to 10 years of experience, particularly those with some steel detailing experience. While familiarity with Tekla is desirable, we are prepared to provide training in this area.

Responsibilities:

• Design structural joist and deck layouts.
• Prepare Request for Information (RFI) documents and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
• Collaborate effectively with customers and internal teams.
• Adapt to a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks efficiently.
• Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Requirements:

• Solid working knowledge of AutoCAD.
• 0-10 years of design experience.
• AAS degree in Design (or equivalent).
• Ability and willingness to learn new software (e.g., Tekla).
• Demonstrated capability to multitask effectively.

Hourly Range: 

• $19.75-27 depending on years of experience

Shift and Hours:

• Monday- Friday
• 8 am- 5 pm

Selection Process: Candidates will be required to undergo two personality tests upon submission of their applications. Successful candidates demonstrating strong multitasking skills will be invited for a face-to-face interview.
