AutoCad Drafter/Designer - RYVAN Recruiting

RYVAN Recruiting is searching for an CAD Designer for our client located in West Palm Beach.  The CAD Designer will draft and design ornamental metal and aluminum product shop drawings to be used within the architecture, manufacturing, engineering, and construction industries.  Qualified candidates will have 3+ years with AutoCAD and Bluebeam software.    

Responsibilities:

• Create a range of drawings to support the approval, production, and installation of our client's custom products.
• Designing shop drawings for approvals and cut sheets for the fabrication process
• Provide assistance to field service, project management, and manufacturing staff
• Ensure that products are engineered to exact customer specifications 
• Prepare and control engineering drawings
• Produce designs to very tight deadlines with the highest levels of accuracy.

Requirements:

• 3+ year's experience as an AutoCAD Drafter/Designer
• Bluebeam software a plus 
• Proficient with customer spec sheets, blueprints, and shop drawings
• Strong understanding of Engineering concepts and practices
• Must be a US Citizen or valid Green Card holder
• Must be able to pass pre-employment background and drug screens
