Seeking an experienced Drafter who has worked with CAD, architectural drawings, and the construction industry. The successful candidate will join our in-house team full-time or on a hybrid basis to develop panel requirements and panel plans for a host of building types.
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:
- Draw detailed construction documents
- Verify client designs meet performance requirements
- Review CAD models and drawings for completeness and accuracy
- Communicate building and panel technical considerations effectively (orally and written) with clients, project managers, and engineers
- Analyze information available to determine and plan the best panel layout for the project
Requirements
A degree and/or experience in the construction/building science, engineering, architecture or commensurate field experience is preferred. Attention to detail, organization skills, math aptitude, and solid understanding of structural engineering will be looked upon especially favorably.
Technical experience in the following software programs are helpful for this position:
- AutoCAD
- Revit, and/or similar construction software
- **Experience with HSB software is a plus

- Maintain organized files for team members
- Exhibit work conscientiousness and attention to detail with in-depth paperwork and drawings
