About the Job
One of our Automotive clients is looking for an experienced Autodrive Calibration/Functional Integration Engineer in Auburn Hills, MI
Description:
As an Auto drive Calibration/Functional Integration engineer, you will play a critical role in standing up the company’s first in house ADAS calibration team by solving the integration issues calibrating L0-L3 ADAS features through the following:
Work closely with the in-house software teams to develop a functional understanding of the algorithms and software in the various ADAS features
Develop calibration guides for each feature and sub-feature
Lead the initial triage of system integration issues, discovery and resolution of software bugs, gaps in specifications, and specification conflicts
Collaborate closely with VF (Vehicle Function) writers to develop and improve VF documents
Collaborate closely with the vehicle build teams to solve any issues with inter-module communication on bench, mule vehicles (Gen2 and Gen3), and X1 vehicles
Collaborate closely with the build and systems teams to solve any architectural issues with the development vehicles
Develop feature level KPIs and translate these targets into lower-level calibration targets
Develop standardized tests and procedures to better objectively bound feature calibrations
As functionality matures, begin to calibrate various ADAS features in vehicle. You will own these calibration values, modify them yourself in vehicle (not through an external supplier), and conduct/lead any testing necessary to tune these values
Notes:
It is expected that you will spend a significant amount of time in vehicles in this role
It is expected that you will interact with global team members both within your immediate team and with the teams that you closely collaborate with
