As the Automated Laboratory - Operations Manager, you will provide day-to-day oversight of laboratory operations, take ownership of directing the Lab’s Automated Laboratory operations and support the entire laboratory division. Manage and supervise operations of clinical laboratory departments of Chemistry, Hematology, and Specimen Processing. Work with the Laboratory Director to coordinate a wide variety of administrative, technical, fiscal, and educational activities to provide quality laboratory services. Collaborate across multi-disciplinary groups representing the clinical labs. Organize, develop, plan, and implement Section and Departmental goals, objectives, policies, and procedures necessary for providing quality patient care. The schedule for this position is Monday – Friday. Must be available to respond off hours for emergency cases.
Preferred Criteria:
- Master's Degree preferred
- American Society for Clinical Pathology Certification (ASCP) or equivalent
- Experience managing a clinical laboratory team in a large hospital organization
Required Criteria:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- New York State Clinical Laboratory Technologist License from New York Education Department
- Must meet current NYS and CAP requirements for a laboratory supervisor
- Minimum of 4 years of clinical laboratory experience or 2 years of clinical laboratory experience with Master’s degree or 1 years of experience with a MD, DO or doctoral degree in a chemical, physical or biological science
- Minimum of 5 years of management experience including regulatory aspects of practice

Salary Range:
$145,000-$193,000/Annual
