JOB SUMMARY

As an Automated Systems Technician in Racine, Wisconsin, you will: set-up and operate all automated manufacturing systems and associated equipment; perform routine repair activities using specific repair and maintenance techniques and practices; assist outside vendors or contractors to maintain, repair or upgrade equipment; coordinate required maintenance for all machines within assigned area; utilize advanced troubleshooting experience and techniques to provide support to fellow ASTs; ensure proper safety procedures are in use at all times; perform equipment start up and shutdown; respond to emergency breakdowns as required; full use of PM methods in planned and unplanned maintenance requests; full understanding of computer-controlled machine programming, including working knowledge of PLC and in-depth understanding of programmable controllers; assist in installation of new equipment and sub-assemblies and complete equipment rebuilds; use of digital dashboard for fault review, starve / block, trends, and analysis,and work collaboratively with suppliers and other Applied partners.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Associate's degree in Automated Manufacturing Systems Technology or equivalent work experience required
• 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment with PLC interface/ Programming required
• Advanced software/hardware skills required
• Strong electro-mechanical skills
• Complete NFPA 70E Training and maintain certification
• NOCTI evaluation of 70 or higher
• Preventative machine maintenance skills preferred
• Visual Basic knowledge a plus

$62,000 - $68,000
