Key Responsibilities :
- Identifying and recommending the automated testing process and tools
- Define and publish key performance metrics for the automated testing
- Provide leadership, guidance, training and mentoring to implement test automation across project teams
- Define and implement test automation strategy including roadmap, tools, technologies, framework & approach across project teams
- Oversee technological execution of the recommended automation solution roadmap across project teams
- Possesses deep understanding of the shift-left test practices and techniques along with the frameworks and tools that support it
- Participate in Design and architectural reviews or proposed automation solutions across project teams
- Evaluate and select best usage of test automation tools for different purposes
- Work closely with system teams for E2E test automation and integrate test artifacts to the pipeline to get more test speed
- Lead test Maturity assessment and develop roadmap
- Provide technical leadership and strategic direction to the modern delivery test practices
- Identify latest tools and technologies that can be implemented to align with organization objectives
- Design, Orchestrate and optimize test frameworks
- Assist dev in Unit test/TDD practices for shift left testing
- Collaborate, define test approach & strategy on Cloud.
- 5 + years of development experience and 3 + years working as Test automation Architect
- Understanding of web, mobile, API and database technologies
- Ongoing knowledge of automated testing industry best practices and tends
- Experience with test automation and test management tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to work in an unstructured, fast-paced environment
- Proficient in using service-based testing tools, service mocking tools.
- Experience with Microservices, Cloud based and DevOps technologies
- Support skills including working with other departments in the company
- Strong Oral and written skills
- Knowledge of multiple test automation frameworks for functional and Non-functional
- Agile software development lifecycle processes and methodologies
- Understanding of primary models of test automation frameworks
- Knowledge of cloud-based technologies, Mobile automation, database technologies and automated build management tools
- Working knowledge of BDD, Automated test-driven development (ATDD) or Test-Driven Development (TDD)
- Advanced experience reading/writing one or more technologies: C#, Java, Java Script, Type, Python, Groovy, Ruby
- Hands-on test automation experience in agile development environment
- Hands-on experience specifying, establishing, and managing environments and test data for functional and non-functional automation projects
- 3 + years working as Test automation Architect, including proven experience of designing and implementing test automation frameworks and methodology to support agile product development
