About the Job
KORE1, a nationwide provider of staffing and recruiting solutions, has an immediate opening for an Automation and Controls Engineer.
his role is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of automated systems within the company. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in control theory and a proven track record of implementing innovative solutions to complex technical challenges.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain automation systems and controls.
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions.
- Optimize system performance and efficiency.
- Stay current with industry trends and technologies.
Qualifications:
- Fundamental control theory knowledge.
- 2+ years of experience in industrial controls or a related field.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and overtime.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Industrial process automation networking experience (e.g., Ethernet IP, Profinet, Profibus).
- Experience with Siemens S7 controllers and programming packages.
- Associate's or bachelor's degree in industrial controls or a related field.
