Are you seeking new roles in the automation engineering field? Selectek is partnering with a company located near Gainesville, Georgia to fill an Automation Engineer role on a temp-to-direct basis. This client is a growing manufacturing firm that is adding staff to accommodate their expanding workload. They are seeking experienced hands to train operators and troubleshoot PLC programming.
Employment Type: Contract to Permanent
Expected Pay Range: $38-$48 per hour before conversion
Location: Gainesville, GA
Job Requirements:
- Three-plus years of experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Extensive knowledge and experience with CNC and Robotics
- Proficiency in robot programming (FANUC, ABB, Staubli, Omron)
- Strong knowledge of Siemens Controllers (840D/Sinumeric One)
Job Details:
- Troubleshoot equipment and program PLC systems on-site
- Integrate automation and robots into factory systems where designated
- Program, debug, and teach robot functions
- Build, configure, and test robots
- Train junior engineers and technicians to ensure optimal function and minimal downtime for critical machines
- Serve as factory floor lead engineer to keep machines running
- Design adjustments/changes for control systems
- Maintain 5S requirements in all designated work areas
