Automation Quality Engineer Lead
Dallas, TX – must be local already, Hybrid role, 3-4 days each week
Duration: Through December, with solid extension opportunities for very long term.
Client is looking for a Quality Engineering leader with proven success of leading teams in Frontend, Backend, Cloud, Mobile, and CI/CD initiatives.
Must have 10-12 years QA Software Engineering experience working in environments on cloud and data migrations.
Skillset working on a multitude of project teams focused on Agile delivery, CI/CD integration, and a quality first mindset.
Must be passionate about:
Implementing quality guidelines to stabilize development and raise the bar for project delivery.
Architecting test solutions that create a team approach to quality.
Must have led QE effort across 2 teams (preferably 3+ teams) in coordinating automated testing, test planning, and project delivery.
Implement quality standards for a portfolio of product delivery teams.
Guide product teams to a standardized delivery model that accounts for testing and validation standards to display the quality of work completed.
Evaluate data quality from new feature development to ensure data transformations meet business expectations.
Automated Testing: Architect test solutions for end-to-end UI, API integration, API contract, and performance testing.
Test Planning: Create test plans, documenting Definition of Done, Test Case management, testing tools and frameworks.
