This role involves assisting engineering and automation teams by managing technical data, performing data quality checks, and supporting software lifecycle documentation and user assistance. location: Richland, Washington job type: Contract salary: $40.00 - 46.84 per hour work hours: 8am to 4pm education: Bachelors responsibilities: + Support users by providing access or creating user accounts for software and applications supported by Engineering Automation. + Perform routine data quality checks and support the EGS, Lead, and engineers in tracking information, locating documents, and document preparation. + Prepare training presentations and documents. + Assist in the preparation of change management documents under engineer supervision. + Ensure work is performed on schedule with high-quality standards for nuclear facilities. + Demonstrate leadership, quality, and safety values within the work group and to interfacing disciplines. + Foster a work environment of openness, trust, communication, teamwork, empowerment, innovation, and satisfaction. Skills: + Proficient in software tools (MS Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint). + strong aptitude for utilizing the computer to collect, organize, and present technical data using relational databases. + Ability to analyze data within technical documents, classify information, and ensure it is readily retrievable. + Desire and ability to monitor large quantities of information and employ efficient extraction techniques. + Effective communication skills with data analysts, engineers, technical experts, and management.
