Automotive Lot Attendant - Groove Auto

Pay Range:  $16.00- $18.00 per hour (based on experience)

Position Overview:

The Lot attendant is responsible for receiving, moving, arranging, and maintaining the appearance of vehicles and ensuring the orderliness of the vehicle lot. Other duties include parking cars in assigned areas, checking them for damage, and listing and storing keys. Assisting managers as requested and maintaining the cleanliness of the property.

Essential Functions:

• Keep the vehicle lot neat and orderly.
• Move cars as directed by the sales managers and follow dealership display standards.
• Keep vehicle batteries charged.
• Keep vehicles cleaned, including removing snow and other debris as necessary.
• Confirm vehicles are gassed up as directed
• Display and replace merchandising as directed
• Assure vehicles are properly secured
• Represent the business well by maintaining a professional appearance and demonstrating sound courtesy and respect to both the customer and the customer's vehicle
• Leave a positive lasting impression with every customer.
• Prompt and efficient handling of work activities requested by managers
• Work in all weather conditions, such as snow, rain, and sunny days.
• You must be able to shovel snow in the winter months.

Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Valid in-state driver's license and have and maintain an acceptable, safe driving record
• Able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen for illegal substances
• Authorized to work in the United States
