Mavis Discount Tire - Administrative Assistant
Put your career into high gear with Mavis Discount Tire! We're looking for a full-time Administrative Assistant to join Team Mavis at our Corporate Offices in Millwood, New York. With over 700 retail locations, Mavis is the fifth largest independently-held tire sales and automotive repair chain in the United States.
About the Position of Administrative Assistant
The Administrative Assistant provides high-level administrative support to the CIO by meeting expectations on project timelines, and consistently deliver high-quality work on time without being micromanaged. The Administrative Assistant also must demonstrate the use of sound judgment and problem-solving skills to provide professional administrative support. While demonstrating a high level of discretion in handling proprietary and confidential information, the Executive Assistant must multi-task and prioritize assignments to ensure efficiency and accuracy in generating work product.
Qualifications
To be eligible for the position of Administrative Assistant, you must:
- be at least 18 years of age;
- be legally authorized to work in the United States;
- possess a Bachelor's degree or at least 2 years of relevant professional work experience;
- possess solid technical background in office administration
- possess strong writing, editing and verbal communication skills; and
- have the ability to balance multiple priorities while meeting high performance goals.
