The Service Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of the Service Department. We are looking for a candidate who can establish and maintain our productivity, profitability, and efficiency requirements. A qualified candidate will possess strong customer service, employee management, and service sales ability. We are a family-oriented company, and provide excellent pay and benefit packages

Responsibilities:
- Ability to operate the department at a profit according to dealership guidelines
- Forecast goals and objectives and strives to meet them
- Manage, train and motivate staff, create work schedules
- Manage Service Technicians' productivity
- Provides technical assistance to employees as needed
- Oversees employee training and development
- Communicates clearly with customers, explains vehicle maintenance services as well as auto repair, develops estimates and quotes
- Focuses on customer satisfaction to generate repeat customers
- Provides professional and tactful resolutions of customer concerns
- Ensures a safe working environment
- Ensures that equipment is properly maintained and repaired
- Establish communication and maintain a good working relationship with other departments
- Maintain a professional appearance
- Comply with federal, state and local regulations
Qualifications/Requirements:
- At least 3 years' experience in service management
- Technical automotive knowledge
- Management experience and skills
- Must have excellent customer service and communication skills
- Must have supervisory experience and good leadership skills
- Excellent computer skills
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
- High ethical standards
- Ability to multitask and highly organized
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
