Automotive Service Manager - Wendle Ford

The automotive dealership Service Director oversees the service departments while upholding the highest ethical standards. The Service Director is responsible for the reputation, efficiency and profitability of these departments.

The ideal candidate must have the following:

• Dealership management experience (preferred)
• Proven track record of developing people. Strong pro-active leadership, organizational, and communication skills (verbal and written).
• Extensive knowledge and understanding of automotive retail services business/operations including P&L, CSI, roles, processes, technology, etc.
• Exemplary problem-solving skills and the ability to implement innovative resolutions to keep our customers satisfied.
• Ability to set and achieve targeted goals.
• Welcoming presence, great listening skills, and an empathetic outlook on all situations.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with many priorities
• Valid U.S. Driver's License with a good driving record.
• Pass a background check and have a clean driving record.

Job Duties:

• Must manage, guide, and mentor a team of four direct reports (three Service Managers) and 40 indirect reports.
• Understand and enforce company policies and procedures.
• Set and achieve production forecasts to maximize growth and departmental profitability.
• Achieve industry leading customer satisfaction.
• Any other tasks deemed necessary by management.
