**Position Overview:**

We are currently seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team at our location on 12910 Central Ave SE in Albuquerque. The Automotive Technician will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles to ensure they are operating efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate will have a passion for automotive technology, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service to our customers.

**Responsibilities:**

- Perform routine automotive maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.

- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in vehicles, including engines, transmissions, suspension systems, and HVAC systems.

- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify potential issues and recommend necessary repairs or replacements.

- Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately diagnose problems and ensure proper functioning of vehicle components.

- Complete repair orders in a timely manner while adhering to quality and safety standards.

- Communicate effectively with customers to explain diagnoses and repair recommendations.

- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and excellent customer service.

**Requirements:**

- High school diploma or equivalent.

- Completion of an automotive technology program or equivalent work experience.

- ASE certification preferred.

- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.

- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Excellent communication and customer service skills.

- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

**Compensation:**

- Flat rate pay starting at $20 per flat rate hour, with the potential to increase up to $45 per flat rate hour based on experience and performance.
