Job Description: Are you passionate about diagnosing and solving vehicle issues? We're currently seeking a skilled Automotive Technician who loves the challenge of diagnostics. As a Diagnostic Specialist, you'll be instrumental in identifying and repairing mechanical and electrical problems in a variety of vehicles within our fleet account. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic tests accurately to identify vehicle problems.
- Inspect vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical components.
- Repair and replace faulty parts and components as needed.
- Maintain meticulous records of diagnostics, repairs, and parts used.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections, ensuring vehicles are roadworthy.
- Stay updated with the latest automotive technology and industry developments.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of repairs.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; ASE certification preferred.
- Proven experience as an auto technician, with expertise in diagnostic and repair procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Knowledge of automotive systems and components.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Working Conditions: This position requires working in a garage or workshop environment, with exposure to noise, fumes, and other hazards. Some lifting and physical activity is required. Hours of operation Monday through friday 8Am to 6 Pm .
