Automotive Technician at Hertz

The Automotive Technician is the second level within the Hertz Corporation for our maintenance team. In this role you will be performing preventative maintenance, minor repairs, and inspection.

Wage: $21.00/hour

Educational Background: 

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

 Professional Experience: 

• At minimum one (1) years of vehicle maintenance experience
• Preferred prior experience with automotive repair (personal or professional)

 Knowledge: 

• Must be able to perform vehicle repairs with oversight
• Ability to use shop equipment such as lifts, tire changing equipment, alignment machines, and scan tools

 Additional Notes:

• Must have tools to perform necessary repairs
• Must have a Valid Driver’s License

• Perform general and warranty repairs and/or preventative maintenance checks on all Hertz fleet vehicles. 
• Change light bulbs, broken antennas, parts replacement, brake jobs, 13-point inspections, alignments, oil changes and tire rotations/repair.
• A/C repairs
• Suspension diagnosis and repair. 
• Complex battery replacement.
• Assist senior Mechanics on heavy line repairs.
• Responsible for maintaining appropriate paperwork and reports.
• Must have the ability to use shop equipment such as lifts
• Follow all company service and safety policies and procedures.
