Working in the heart of both the agriculture & energy sectors, where 1/2 ton through 1.5 ton trucks are extremely popular, this family owned dealer group operates 6 market leading new Ford and FCA (Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep, Ram) auto dealerships.
Job Description of Automotive Technician:
Joining a team of expert technicians, you will have a continuous workflow of gas or diesel work (depending on your expertise). Because of location, a huge majority of our tickets are customer pay and their Door Rate is the highest in the region. As such, they offer premium wages.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
High School diploma or equivalent

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Perform work as outlined in repair order.
- Perform all work with efficiency and accuracy and in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
- Diagnose and repair vehicle malfunction.
- Communicate with the parts department to secure necessary parts.
- Save and tag warranty parts.
- Work with service advisers and provide recommendation if repair order needs to be adjusted.
- Road test vehicles as needed for quality assessment.
- Maintain working knowledge of factory technical bulletins.
- Ensure customer vehicle cleanliness.
- Accountable for all dealership owned tools.
- Perform job duties and functions with flexibility in the event circumstances shift, i.e., emergencies, changes in personnel, workload, rush jobs or technology developments
High School diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Experience diagnosing and repairing relevant makes and models.
- Dodge Certifications ( Level 1, Level 2, or Level 3)
- Motivation to work independently
- Desire to learn and attend training sessions for products serviced by the company at the company's expense.
- Your own set of hand tools with a roll-away toolbox
