In this hands-on, rewarding role, you’ll work closely with both students and a Master Mechanic faculty member, guiding students through practical automotive repair processes and helping them master essential tools and techniques. Your mentorship and support will be instrumental in setting them up for success in the automotive industry.

What You’ll Do:

• Engage & Inspire: Actively work with students to help them understand repair processes and gain confidence using automotive tools and equipment.

• Prepare & Organize: Create a productive environment by organizing course materials and reinforcing class objectives.

• Mentor & Track Progress: Document student achievements, maintain accurate records, and provide regular feedback to help them succeed.

• Collaborate & Lead: Partner with faculty to support students and potentially oversee a team of student workers.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in an automotive shop or related field.

• Knowledge & Passion: In-depth understanding of repair processes, tools, and equipment.

• Teaching Spirit: Experience assisting, mentoring, or leading in a hands-on learning environment is a plus.

• Automotive Credentials: Certifications or an associate degree in automotive or a related field preferred.

• Reliable & Committed: Must pass a background check and drug screening.
