Job DescriptionThe Vice President of Sales - Reseller Management will develop our reseller strategy to maximize revenue growth, market share, and customer satisfaction. You will oversee the reseller program, including recruitment, onboarding, enablement, performance management, and building relationships. You will have a background in sales management, channel development, and partner ecosystems, with experience making improvements through indirect sales channels.
Important Responsibilities:
- Develop and Implement Reseller Strategy: Create a comprehensive reseller strategy that aligns with our overall sales goals and growth targets. Identify new reseller opportunities, develop market penetration plans, and establish clear goals and KPIs.
- Recruitment and Onboarding: Identify, recruit, and onboard new resellers to expand our market reach. Develop an onboarding process to ensure resellers are equipped with the knowledge and resources needed to succeed.
- Enablement and Training: Design and implement training programs to empower resellers with product knowledge, sales techniques, and best practices. Ensure education and certification to keep resellers informed.
- Performance Management: Monitor reseller performance against established targets and KPIs. Analyze sales data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to optimize reseller performance. Implement corrective actions to address underperformance.
- Relationship Management: Develop long-term relationships with important resellers. Be a primary contact for escalations and provide support to resolve issues, remove barriers, and enhance reseller satisfaction.
- Collaboration: Work with our teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to align reseller strategies with our goals. Collaborate on joint marketing initiatives, product launches, and promotional activities.
- Market Analysis: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitive landscape, and market dynamics. Provide strategic insights to adapt the reseller strategy and maintain a competitive edge.
- Leadership and Team Development: Lead a team of sales professionals responsible for reseller management.Encourage professional growth, and ensure the team meets sales targets.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field or MBA.
- 10+ years of sales experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing reseller or channel sales teams.
- Experience managing reseller programs and driving revenue growth through indirect sales channels.
- Experience with channel sales models, partner ecosystems, and indirect sales strategies.
- Analyze complex sales data, identify trends, and develop relevant insights.
- Experience in Automotive industry is required.
- Willingness to travel to meet with resellers and attend industry events.
