JLL is seeking an On Site AV professional to support our client in Gaithersburg MD. Candidate will be responsible for the effective and efficient use of conference facilities to ensure satisfactory service for clients and visitors. He/she will support the day-to-day operation including set-up, operation, maintenance, inventory and security of all audiovisual equipment, and conference rooms. The position requires leadership, initiative, organizational skills, attention to detail, and highly refined customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
Major duties include (but are not limited to) the following:
Provide white-glove technical support for internal, customer, and C-level executive meetings.
Perform regular maintenance, software and firmware updates, preventive maintenance and routine repairs to provide uninterrupted service of all conference room equipment.
Assist with scheduling meeting rooms and supporting conferences, training sessions, and special events conducted within the Columbia complex.
Pro-actively identify potential Audiovisual issues and provide solutions to clients concerns or needs.
Demonstrate a strong working knowledge of teleconferencing service, example Skype for Business, or Webex, etc.
Bring technical expertise and guidance for the deployment & operation of Crestron Flex, and Polycom VTC codec.
Understand and articulating policies to employees/customers regarding facility usage, rental, sponsorship, etc.
Basic Qualifications/Skills:
Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of related experience OR High School education with 5+ years of related experience.
This should include:
2 years’ experience in a client/customer service-oriented environment, preferably in a corporate conference center.
2+ years of experience with Microsoft Office in an office environment.
Possession of excellent service orientation, responsiveness, and organizational skills.
Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
Success in the role requires:

Advanced troubleshooting skill and support of AV software and hardware configurations
Ability to work in a team environment and perform collective team tasks to meet deliverables and deadlines.

Ability to consistently provide and implement solutions in Audiovisual Services
Ability to work with all levels of staff and clientele
Familiarity with integrated AV systems
Ability to learn new software as required for the position
Ability to work in a fast paced environment with competing priorities.
Must maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
Additional/Desired Qualifications:
Experience with a hotel or corporate conference center
Experience with EMS or any web-based conference room scheduling system preferred.
CTS Certification
Crestron Certifications
Experience in live Audiovisual production
