Roles and Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the lead engineer to understand and implement project requirements.
- Fabricate video equipment pods for final installation.
- Install equipment inside enclosures.
- Build and install cabling for POD and cameras.
- Configure Linux-based computers for use with Vigilant LPR cameras.
- Configure LPR cameras with basic settings prior to deployment.
- Manage, track, and consolidate project hardware inventory.
- Test programmed equipment to ensure it meets quality standards.
- Update and create documentation related to the project.
- Provide onsite support as needed for installations (25% travel required).
- Stage, install, and test video sites in Chicago.
- Top Contributions within First 90-120 Days Revenue and milestone support for the team.
- Networking with troubleshooting.
- IP video configurations and troubleshooting.
- IP subnetting.
- Good communication skills.
- Wireless networking.
- Access control.
- Industry Experience
- Preferred but not mandatory due to the difficulty of finding this skill set in the market.
- Software Proficiency
- Office and communication software.
- Certificates: Network+, A+, CCNA.
