Position Overview
Pantheon Data is seeking an Aviation Facilities Planner to work closely with the USCG's Major Acquisition System Infrastructure (MASI) program staff to plan, facilitate, and provide complex analysis and evaluation of USCG infrastructure needs relative to logistical support of surface and aviation assets.
Responsibilities
- Research and understand facilities needed to support Coast Guard surface and air acquisitions.
- Develop the infrastructure requirements for surface and air acquisitions that will be included in integrated logistics support plans.
- Evaluate/analyze planning and design documents for inclusion of and alignment with shore infrastructure requirements.
- Support integrated logistics support teams and integrated logistics support plans with onshore input infrastructure for surface and air acquisitions.
- Facilitate integrated product/project teams to develop shore infrastructure requirements and develop solutions to shore facility challenges.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field (Architecture, Civil/Mechanical Engineering/Urban Planning)
- 5 Years experience planning or managing capital construction projects including preparing construction cost estimates, project schedules & scopes, developing project requirements, overseeing construction project bids/awards/close-outs/warranties.
- Experience drafting or preparing facility plan & elevation drawings on Autocad or similar drafting software.
- 5 years' experience in facilities construction or facilities management with a strong understanding of building systems including envelopes, HVAC, fire protection, plumbing & finishing systems.
- Knowledge & experience in preparing, delivering, and managing '1391' Military Construction Project Data sheets and/or the Army Corps PAX Processor System (preferred)
Preferred:
- Experience in managing, maintaining, repairing, or construction aviation facilities including hangars, liquid oxygen/aviation fuel storage facilities, aviation aprons, and other aviation facilities.
- Experience in preparing US Federal Government NEPA assessments & a general knowledge of federal government construction permitting process (including SHPO, NHPA, & other NEPA consultations)
- Experience or certification as a DHS/DOD COR
- DHS/DOD Program Manager Certification (PM)
- DHS/DOD Project Management Professional (PMP)
Clearance Requirements
U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
Work Location
Hybrid - two (2) days a week at USCG HQ (DHS St. Elizabeth's Campus in D.C.)
Compensation
The salary range for this position is $85,000 - $115,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
