Overview
The Aviation Account Manager will be responsible for renewal retention of existing aircraft insurance clients by quoting, selling and writing personal aircraft insurance for aircraft owners in a fast-paced, high volume insurance agency. This position requires a significant degree of independent judgement and discretion to meet service levels.
This role can be based out of Frederick, Maryland or Wichita, Kansas.
Our Account Manager will partner with our Aviation sales team to facilitate day-to-day management of current clients' insurance programs, helping the world prepare for the unexpected.

What You'll Do
- Primary focus is retention of existing customers in accordance with agency policies and procedures.
- Must interact with underwriters at multiple insurance companies by phone and email to obtain insurance quotes and issue renewal policies.
- Outbound efforts include contacting customers to gather additional information, responding to internet requests for quotes, and following up on quoted but not renewed customers.
- Explain insurance coverages and offer insurance advice to prospective and existing customers.
- Maintains records according to Agency standards, ensures that procedures are properly followed and that information is properly documented and readily accessible.
- Assists in the development of strong personal relationships with insurance carrier personnel.
- Completes continuing education requirements to maintain required Property/Casualty insurance license.

What You'll Need
- Insurance experience a plus.
- Strong oral and written communication, time management and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently to achieve monthly goals while also working effectively in a collaborative team oriented environment.
- Property and Casualty insurance license is required. We help provide support for applicants who do not have a current P&C license to obtain one. These applicants will be actively considered, but will be required to obtain their license prior to start date.
