Position Overview:
The Aviation Maintenance Technician is vital to the operation of Brunswick’s fleet of aircraft. This role assists and conducts aircraft maintenance to produce cost effective, reliable maintenance in compliance with company, OSHA, and FAA regulations.

Essential Functions:
+ Performs inspections, preventive maintenance, trouble-shooting and replacement of parts on the aircraft
+ Assists with aircraft preparations
+ Maintains shop and hangar tools and equipment
+ Ensuring compliance with ADs
+ Maintains training and currency on company specific aircraft Type
+ Assists in compliance of minimum equipment list (MEL) maintenance procedures
+ Ensures OSHA and FAA guidelines are followed
+ Run/Taxi qualified in company aircraft
+ Assists in maintenance of hangar space, grounds
+ Aircraft fueling
+ Moves aircraft in and out of hangar
+ Manages passenger cars and luggage
Diversity of thought and experiences is fundamental when imagining the unimaginable. Certain skillsets/experiences are necessary; however, others can be developed along the way.
Required Qualifications:
+ High school diploma or equivalent with an Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certificate
+ Broad knowledge of and experience with the maintenance of aircraft of the class, category and type that the company operates
+ Minimum 3 years’ experience with Turbine powered (Jet) aircraft
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in aviation management, aviation maintenance, or related field
Working Conditions:
+ Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
+ Able to climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl while working on aircraft.
+ Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
+ Work in an open air hangar, in outdoor weather conditions, with exposure to loud noise.
