About the Job
Pridestaff, on behalf of their client is seeking a talented Shipping and Receiving Supervisor w/ Aviation experience to join our client, a top aviation company. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing industry leader located in Fort Lauderdale.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, inventory, and distribution
- Supervise and train the warehouse employees
- Ensure orders are picked, packed and shipped accurately and on time
- Maintain inventory levels and ensure adequate stock levels
- Process shipments and coordinate with carriers
- Perform cycle counts and reconcile inventory variances
Skills Required:
- 5+ years experience in warehouse management, shipping and receiving
- Knowledge of aviation parts, systems and regulations preferred
- Must be computer savvy and have Quantum working knowledge
- Strong organizational, problem-solving and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively prioritize workload and meet deadlines
- Proficient with inventory and warehouse management software
