Pinnacle Solutions is looking for an Aviation Structures/Composite Technician to work at Malmstrom Air Force Base in Montana.
Responsibilities
+ Performs the maintenance of aircraft, forms and records using 781 series forms, GOLD esp and IMDS; troubleshooting and maintenance of aircraft structures, systems and components through daily flying operations, scheduled & unscheduled maintenance, TCTO’s and heavy maintenance using IETM (computer based technical directives). Other duties required for flight line operations may occur.
+ Primary duties is use of schematics and diagrams for performing aircraft modifications upgrades and major aircraft inspection.
+ Assembles structural parts and components to meet requirements; assesses damage to aircraft structural components and coatings; advises on structural repair, modification, and corrosion protection treatment with respect to original strength, weight, and contour to maintain structural integrity; assembles repairs using special fasteners and adhesives.
+ Checks repairs for serviceability according to specifications, technical publications or engineering assist requests.
+ Manufactures jigs, fixtures, forms, and molds; paints aircraft; identifies, removes, and treats corrosion using mechanical and chemical procedures; uses metalworking equipment and tools to form, cut, bend, and fasten replacement or repair parts to damaged structures and components.
+ Stores, handles, and disposes of hazardous waste and materials according to environmental standards.
Qualifications
+ HS diploma or equivalent required.
+ Able to pass a DOT physical.
+ Must maintain valid driver's license.
+ 4 Years of aviation maintenance experience with some helicopter experience required.
+ Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance - Interim Secret required to start.
+ Must obtain or possess a valid US Passport.
Desired Qualifications:
+ AW139 experience highly desired.
+ Current A&P.
+ Level II Composite Repairman certification.
+ Active Secret Clearance.
NOTE: Pay range is higher for qualified applicants with preferred qualities.
