Product Support Team
This position will offer extensive technical and business expertise to provide customers with world-class after-delivery support.
What you’ll be doing as a Product Support Engineer – Avionics
+ Work on a flexible schedule and availability driven by the business and customer need.
+ Receive, interpret, transfer, or accept incoming customer calls and e-mail requests.
+ Utilize computer programs, technical publications and product support tools to assist customers with technical inquiries.
+ Follow department operating procedures for providing front line customer support to enable World-Class customer service for each customer.
+ Provide feedback regarding daily operating procedures and makes recommendations for revision to better achieve department objectives.
+ Collaborate daily with numerous departments within Bell to ensure the customer receives the best service and solution possible always.
+ Develop inspection, maintenance, trouble- shooting, repair and overhaul functions of our helicopters according to industry-leading standards.
+ Process intensive customer email correspondence displaying good writing proficiency.
+ Represent Bell Textron Canada at conferences and other special events.
+ Responsible for creating and maintaining good relationships for both internal and external customers.
Qualifications
Skills You Bring To this Role
+ Advanced ability to troubleshoot complex avionics / electrical systems.
+ Working knowledge of domestic and / or international governing aviation agencies.
+ Ability to interpret engineering design drawings and specifications.
+ Working knowledge of MS Windows and MS Office, and aptitude for proficiency in other software.
+ Demonstrated business and management skills.
+ Team player mindset with ability to build and maintain positive relationships with peers.
+ Ability to work on a schedule with flexible hours/availability to support customer needs.
+ Available to travel outside the country approximatively 10% of time.
+ Must be fluent in English, spoken and written.
+ Knowledge of another language is an asset.
What you need to be successful
+ College degree in Aerospace.
+ A&P(Airframe and Powerplant) License or Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Avionics (E) License.
+ 6 years of field experience and /or expertise as avionics.
