Position Summary:
The AVP/Branch Manager supervises the branch staff. The AVP/Branch Manager will train and empower the branch staff to provide customers with accurate, helpful, and friendly handling of routine and complex transactions.
Position Responsibilities:
- Maintain the branch's business and retail relationships (new and existing)
- Lead all sales efforts for the branch by making outside solicitation calls
- Direct and control the overall activities of the branch
- Ensure everyone in the branch is providing excellent customer service
- Train the branch staff to be able to answer basic customer inquiries regarding interest rates, service charges and account histories while complying with disclosure requirements, regulations and consumer privacy policies.
- Ensure all branch staff is cross-selling bank products and services including Online/Mobile and Text Banking in addition to Treasury Management services
- Process Consumer Loan applications and refer Commercial/Mortgage Loans to applicable Officer
- Conduct Branch Sales Meetings
- Ensure all bank policies and procedures being followed
- Ensure that dual control is always enforced when applicable
- Ensure the Branch receives Satisfactory Compliance Audits
- Achieve established sales targets
- Promote various banking services and refer new residential and commercial loans
- Identify, acquire and grow new relationships and develop and maintain a referral network
- Follow up on leads given by the branch and line of business partners including lenders, corporate services, and retail staff to expand current customers and attract new banking relationships
- Accurately discuss the features, costs, and potential benefits of a wide variety of complex products and services that may help meet business owner's needs, complete required documentation with a high degree of accuracy
- Participate in community events as a brand ambassador for the Bank
- Strong and consistent communication with the VP/Market Lending Leader regarding sales calls, pipeline, follow-up and customer interactions
- Responsibilities also include other duties as assigned by the supervisor/manager
Essential Job Functions:
Essential job functions include the employee occupying this position frequently will be required to perform problem resolution and communicate with both internal and external customers. The employee must be able to remain in a stationary position 50 percent of the time; frequently operate a telephone, computer, printer, copier and fax machine; and occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.

- This position requires that the employee is out of the branch calling on clients and potential clients; must exhibit a high degree of integrity, trustworthiness and professionalism at all times
Supervisory Responsibility:
- This position has management responsibilities.
Required Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- 4 Years Banking
- 4 Years Management experience
- 4 Years Customer Service
