Responsibilities:The AVP IT Services - Project Administration is responsible for providing leadership and direction to the CTO Delivery Team. The team is responsible for managing the project management lifecycle and creating safeguards against risk through proactive guidance, comprehensive documentation and continual assessment of GM Financial's business processes and internal controls. The AVP will promote team member integrity, ethical compliance and build upon our established culture. The AVP will have contact and interaction with all levels of management and departments across the organization as well as external customers, auditors and/or state examiners. There will be a great deal of interaction with senior leaders from all across the organization and on-going collaboration with the ITS leadership team.

- Assist VP in determining the department's annual business plan and setting budgetary requirements

- You can exhibit in-depth knowledge of GM Financial's core business functions, policies and procedures
- You have knowledge of regulatory compliance of applicable State and Federal lending laws and the financial industry
- You are detail oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to listen actively and work collaboratively with others in teams
- You have computer proficiency in MS Office including the strong ability to produce executive-level reports using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
- You are able to provide leadership through influence, inspiration, collaboration and teamwork
- You can accommodate a flexible schedule with possibility of working long hours and limited travel that may be required to support business needs
Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent work experience required
- 5+ years work experience in Finance, ITS, Lending, Project Management or related industry required
- 3+ years leadership experience required
Licenses
- PMP - Project Management Professional 1 1/2 Yrs preferred
- CSM - Certified Scrum Master 1 1/2 Yrs preferred
