Job Description
Responsibilities:
• Design and implement system deployment solutions in Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Establish AWS resource requirements define and implement security using AWS infrastructure, security policies, and services, establish the health and status monitoring solution using AWS services (including services such as EC2, S3, ELB, RDS, CloudFormation, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, Lambda, etc).
• Implement and apply operating system security templates and policies to comply with Customer's security and information assurance requirements.
• Participate in software and system security accreditation activities, such as software static analysis and system vulnerability analyses.
• Deploy and verify software systems in AWS and VMware environments.
• Implement automation scripts for health and status monitoring, diagnostics, and normal maintenance activities.
• Coordinate activities that affect the availability of operational systems.
• Good experience with DevOps to ensure operational systems are available, reliable, and performant. Diagnose and fix system performance and reliability issues.
• Experience with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Maven, GitHub, Ansible, Artifactory, Sonar Qube in a cloud environment
• Experience scripting against AWS CLI
• Experience with Linux and Windows Server system administration
• As part of the technical team, liaison with customers and users to understand integration requirements with external systems, networks, and organizations.
• Maintain cognizance and expertise on relevant industry standards, best practices, and technologies that may be leveraged for our customers and users.
• Good experience with Business Continuity- Disaster Recovery (BC-DR ), setup, configuration and administration of clustered environments in AWS
Qualifications
Required Experience, Education, and Certifications:
• 3+ years of experience designing and implementing cloud architectures using AWS resources and services.
• 5+ years of experience in software system deployment and operations.
• Expert level knowledge and hands on experience with Cloud Scripting and Automation is required
• Experience with VMware vRealize Automation (vRA) and Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• Must to have working experience any of the programming language Java, Python, Go/C++, Must have strong programming skills
• Security+, CASP, CISSP, or other IT Security certification preferred
• AWS Certified a PLUS!
