ACTUAL TITLE: AWS Marketplace Operations Specialist
The AWS Marketplace Operations Specialist will work with support and sales teams to ensure that deals sold through the AWS Marketplace channel are reviewed and executed in an accurate and timely manner.
Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and problem-solving contractor to join our team in Indianapolis, IN. This role involves monitoring reports and Slack channels, fielding questions, reviewing marketplace deals, performing user acceptance testing, booking deals, and converting quotes. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and proficient documentation abilities. While system navigation and understanding processes and procedures are teachable, the candidate must be quick to learn and adapt.

- This position requires the worker to be in the office 3-5 days a week and cannot be fully remote.
Contract Details:
- Duration: Approximately 10/31/2024 to 1/31/2025, with the possibility of extension or conversion to a permanent role.
- Interview Process: 1 round
Day Overview:
A typical day for this contractor will involve:
- Monitoring reports and Slack channels for updates and inquiries.
- Fielding questions from team members and stakeholders.
- Reviewing and assessing marketplace deals to ensure they meet company standards.
- Performing user acceptance testing to validate new features or updates.
- Booking deals and converting quotes to finalize transactions.

* Validate proposed deals to ensure they meet requirements and have all required data elements
* Work with sales and partner teams to ensure that all required information is provided
* Update and create records in Salesforce, AWS, and third-party systems as needed, in an accurate and timely manner
* Perform all necessary calculations to validate the accuracy of necessary data
* Apply knowledge, skills and judgment to make decisions and resolve issues
* Audit processes to identify process and performance defects
* Partner with IT (internal and external partners) and functional business owners to resolve systems related issues
* Complete User Acceptance Testing for IT deployments
Attributes required:

* Ability to multi-task and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment
* Able to think independently and consider cross-functional and downstream impacts
* Work proactively, independently, and with a sense of urgency

Skills / Expertise:
* 1-5 years in sales operations, quote-to-cash operations or similar role
* Strong proficiency in spreadsheet software (Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets)
* Familiarity with Salesforce, AWS MP, or Tackle.io.
