Who We Need
We’re searching for an Azure Architect to join our crew. As our ideal Azure Architect, you should have extensive knowledge of Azure services and a proven track record of architecting high-performing cloud solutions. In this role you will lead the infrastructure strategy, design, and implementation of Brightwell’s Azure cloud environment. We are looking for someone who will be instrumental in ensuring the reliability, performance, security, and scalability of our cloud infrastructure.
**This is a HYBRID position based in Atlanta, GA. Candidates will be expecting in the office on Tuesdays and Thursdays each week.

What You’ll Do
- Lead the design and implementation of Azure infrastructure and platform solutions.
- Provide technical guidance and drive best practices in architecture, automation, security, and performance optimization.
- Design solutions to meet all business and product requirements, including high availability, disaster recovery, and cost optimization strategies.
- Ensure all cloud solutions adhere to regulatory compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR. PCI).
- Drive automation initiatives using infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform to optimize CI/CD pipelines.
- Continuously monitor cloud performance and resource utilization, identifying areas for improvement and implementing enhancements to ensure optimal performance.
- Develop and maintain documentation of cloud architectures, configurations, processes, and procedures, ensuring knowledge sharing across all teams.
- Stay current with the latest Azure technologies, best practices, and industry trends.
As an Azure Architect, you have
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in designing, implementing, and managing Azure infrastructure solutions in a production environment.
- 7 years of experience with Microsoft Azure, including hands-on experiences with IaaS and SaaS architectures. Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-300, AZ-301, AZ-304, AZ-305) are highly preferred.
- Strong experience architecting, designing, and implementing cloud solutions on Azure, with a deep understanding of Azure Services (virtual machines, Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure SQL, Azure native components).
- Expertise in implementing security best practices, including identity management, encryption, RBAC, and, compliance in Azure environments.
- Proficiency with Terraform to manage and automate cloud environments.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automation frameworks, and related tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, and GitHub Actions.
- Strong understanding of networking principles, including VPN, Load Balancers, Application Gateways, and Azure Firewall.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
