Salary Range: $140K-$160K/Annum



Job Description:

• Minimum 10 years of experience in IT, with at least 5 years specifically in Azure architecture and cloud solutions

• Design and implement end-to-end data solutions using Azure services such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Azure Databricks and Azure Data Lake.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines to ingest, transform, and load data from various sources.
• Design and manage scalable data lakes to support comprehensive data storage and analysis needs.
• Design retention, lifecycle, archival policies for datasets
• Work with Azure Data Lake Storage to efficiently store and manage large datasets.
• Create and manage data models and data warehouses to support business intelligence and analytics needs.
• Set up and manage external tables and integrate with various data sources.
• Utilize Delta Lake for optimized data storage and real-time analytics capabilities.
• Develop and deploy interactive and visually compelling reports and dashboards using Power BI.
• Utilize Azure Databricks for advanced data processing.
• Optimize and manage Azure SQL databases to ensure high performance and availability.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps to streamline development and deployment processes.
• Ensure data security and compliance with relevant regulations and best practices (eg: NIST).
• Setup Azure Purview for data governance
• Experience with data integration and migration from on-premises to cloud environments.
• Proficiency in Python and experience with Python Notebooks.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation (PowerShell, ARM templates, Terraform
• Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, Azure Data Engineer) are a plus

• Experience in designing and implementing cloud data lake architectures, data migration strategies
• Proven ability to lead cloud data migration projects
• Hands-on experience in performance tuning and cost optimization
• Proven experience in setting up data governance using Purview

• Design, develop, and manage Azure data lake architectures and data ETL pipelines
• Setup data Governance using Purview
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Provide guidance on best practices for cloud data migration and reporting
• Ensure security, scalability, and reliability of solutions
• Experience in solutioning that meets NIST guidelines
• Mentor and guide junior architects and engineers

• Strong leadership and mentoring skills
• Excellent project management skills
• Ability to work under tight deadlines
• Strong organizational and team management skills

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field
• Relevant certifications in Azure (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert)
