The Marlin Alliance, Inc. is seeking an Azure-Certified Administrator / Information Assurance Analyst in San Diego, CA. This position supports our Navy customer and requires a US Secret security clearance.

Azure Admin Duties/Responsibilities
- Maintain servers including virtual machines, storage, networking, software upgrades, security patches, accounts administration, daily back-ups, and system trouble shooting.
- Manage and deploy Azure solutions.
- Maintain and provide a staging environment for integration and operational testing prior to release of an application’s next version.
- Monitor system performance and server configuration maintenance.
- Execute applications deployment to test and production environments.
- Maintain development and integration test environments representative of the production environment and maintain configuration control of each environment’s IT components and content.
- Manage virtualized server configurations.
- Maintain and perform server administration.
- Execute information assurance scan requirements.
- Back-up applications and restore applications from back-up (disaster recovery).
- Document the configuration of the system.
- Other duties as assigned.
IA AnalystDuties/Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for the assessment of compliance of information systems with DoD and Navy RMF standards (review, verify and validate required DoD RMF documentation and artifacts.
- Assist in achieving and maintaining the system’s Authority to Operate (ATO) certifications.
- Assist in Assessment and Authorization (A&A) packages in accordance with appropriate DoD policies and procedures.
- Assist in developing and reporting on Cybersecurity/RMF metrics.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or related scientific or technical discipline (or equivalent combination of education/experience)
- Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II certification, as outlined by DoD 8570, which consists of an Operating System (OS) Certification and a Security Certification.
- 2+ years of experience in network/systems administration/management.
- 2+ years of direct experience in DoD Cybersecurity, Information Assurance, and Risk Management Framework.
- Experience with Azure.
- Experience in applying analytical skills to support process improvement, studies, and analysis projects.
- Proficient at paying attention with respect to processes and policies as laid out by the Navy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Minimum of an active DoD SECRET security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Navy Information Technology (IT) systems administration, systems engineering, systems analysis, and network management.
- Experience setting up Azure environments from scratch.
- AZ-900, AZ-104, AZ-220 or AZ-305 certification a plus.
- Experience with Shell Scripting.
- Experience with Azure networking. Configuration set up networks.
- Experience with Tableau.
- Experience using Navy RMF related tools (eMASS, DITPR-DON, DADMS).
- Knowledge and expertise of the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) RMF Special Publications.
- Completion of at least one ATO or IATT in eMASS.
- Project management experience.
