Collections Specialist (Business-to-Business)
Location: Phoenix, Arizona (in-office)
Well-established industry leader is adding to their Collections team. Looking for a detail-oriented collector with strong vendor relations/customer service skills.
Duties:
- Performs day to day collection (business-to-business) activity on assigned accounts receivable portfolio.
- Review delinquent customer payment trends for corrective action. Takes appropriate action on collection and delinquency issues.
- Negotiate and manage customer payment plans.
- Maintains a professional and customer service oriented with customers
- Research and provide required documentation for collection or credit memo processing.
- Provides various accounts receivable reporting to Supervisor Credit & Collections
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in Business-to-Business (B2B) collections
- Experience in the construction industry highly desirable
- Knowledge of fair debt, collection management and state commercial laws preferred
- Knowledge of construction lien laws preferred
- Effective collaborator
- Excellent verbal and written English communication abilities
- Proficient computer skills in MS Office; advanced in Excel
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated problem solving skills and ability to make timely decisions
