Collections Specialist (Business-to-Business)

Location: Phoenix, Arizona (in-office)

Well-established industry leader is adding to their Collections team. Looking for a detail-oriented collector with strong vendor relations/customer service skills.

Duties:

• Performs day to day collection (business-to-business) activity on assigned accounts receivable portfolio.
• Review delinquent customer payment trends for corrective action. Takes appropriate action on collection and delinquency issues.
• Negotiate and manage customer payment plans.
• Maintains a professional and customer service oriented with customers
• Research and provide required documentation for collection or credit memo processing.
• Provides various accounts receivable reporting to Supervisor Credit & Collections

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in Business-to-Business (B2B) collections
• Experience in the construction industry highly desirable
• Knowledge of fair debt, collection management and state commercial laws preferred
• Knowledge of construction lien laws preferred
• Effective collaborator
• Excellent verbal and written English communication abilities
• Proficient computer skills in MS Office; advanced in Excel
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrated problem solving skills and ability to make timely decisions
