We’re currently looking for an Occasional Babysitter in San Marcos, CA 92069
A lovely family near Cal State San Marcos is seeking an occasional babysitter for their active 10.5 month old when their primary nanny is unavailable. Backup care is needed intermittently during the weekdays from 8am-5pm. The family can typically provide at least a week’s notice prior to when backup care is needed, however, there will be times when care is needed for the next day. The child is very happy and enjoys food, cuddling their stuffed animals, and playing ball. Those applying do not need to be available for all requests, but should understand there are no guaranteed weekly hours for this position. A great candidate will be engaging, flexible, and reliable.

Schedule: Intermittent - No guaranteed hours
- Weekdays, 8am-5pm
- Compensation: $27 per hour
Responsibilities:
- Bottle + solid feeding
- Diaper changing
- Engaging with the child in developmentally appropriate activities
- Stroller walks to the nearby park
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of paid professional infant care experience
- Valid CPR certification or willing to update
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- High School diploma or equivalent
Compensation:
This position pays $27 per hour and the family is looking for backup care on an as needed basis.
