Overview:Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Missouri Department of Corrections.
We are currently seeking a full-time Bachelor's Level Mental Health Professional to join our team at Fulton Reception and Diagnostic Center located in Fulton, Missouri.
Responsibilities:The Bachelor’s Level Mental Health Professional provides basic mental health treatment in the form of psycho-educational groups and mental health rounds, and assists with discharge planning/re-entry, and serves in other supportive roles, as requested, to the mental health staff under the supervision of licensed mental health staff in collaboration with a multidisciplinary treatment team in a correctional setting.
Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree in the social sciences (i.e. psychology, social work, counseling or related field) from an accredited educational institution required
- Experience conducting psycho-educational groups preferred
- Experience in a correctional environment preferred
- Minimum of one year experience with direct care for individuals with mental illness preferred
- Must show current tuberculosis documentation, must be appropriately certified in first aid, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) / Basic Life Support (BLS), and automated external defibrillator (AED) use
- Must be able to pass background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicable
