The Back Shop Manager will be responsible for overseeing all delivery technicians and the entire shop. They will act as the primary point of contact when upper management is unavailable. Additionally, the Manager will assist with shop duties and oversee tuning. This position is seasonal and is only available during the ski season. As a representative of Black Tie Ski Rentals, the Back Shop Manager must deliver excellent customer service with a friendly demeanor and disposition.

With the “Biggest Skiing in America” lift ticket, skiers can enjoy both mountains along with their 4,300 feet of vertical drop, 220 runs with glades and bowls. The area is blessed with more than 400 inches of snow per season on average. And to top it off, skiers and riders almost always find quick access to lifts with very short lines, if any. Big Sky is the perfect combination of premier skiing and small crowds, making it the perfect place to enjoy your next vacation or, work and ski daily!

The ideal candidate will have:

• One to three years of experience in the Ski industry preferred

• Minimum of a high school diploma, GED, or currently enrolled

• Combination of education and experience may be considered

• Availability now thorugh April 2025

Essential Duties:

• Primary point of contact for all staff, when higher management is unavailable

• Help with planning of Black Tie operations including but not limited to loading vans, returns, packing fits, tuning and all other daily operations

• Opening and closing of all shop locations, by turning on/off lights and locking/ unlocking doors

• Overseeing all delivery technicians for both daily operations and projects

• Conduct bi-weekly management meetings to discuss strategies and implementation (day TBD)

• Manage the entire Back Shop, Tuning, Warranty, Torque Testing, etc.

• Supervise all of Black Tie delivery tuning to include all in house tuning at the shop location, plus coordinate guest personal equipment and outsourced tuning.

Hours: Two Full Day Shift from 7:30am to 5:30pm, three evening shift 3:30pm to 10:00pm and TWO FULL DAYS OFF. There is PLENTY OF SKI TIME included with this position.
