WE LOVE OUR WORK.:

• Perform general building maintenance (Carpentry, Light electrical, Painting, Cleaning, Plumbing, etc)
• Responsible for maintenance of the interior and exterior of racing buildings, structures and grounds, including, but not limited to: barns, maintenance buildings, dormitories, fencing, rails, etc.
• Have the ability to drive vehicles, and handle machinery and equipment of all types and sizes
• Carry out proper planned maintenance to equipment, buildings, barns and groundskeeping other supervisors informed of the activities, repairs, replacement of and condition of equipment and structures at facility
• Assumes responsibility for standards of procedures, environmental health and safety awareness and compliance and training with the respective areas
• Follows company policies, procedures, and safety regulations
• Performs daily checks and routine maintenance as required
• Suggests changes in working schedules and conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency
• Assures the proper safety standards and precautions are followed
• Inspects and ensures that equipment is in proper working order
• Responds to after-hours calls as needed

BRING US YOUR BEST.:

• Must be 21 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent and experience in housekeeping/ grounds keeping
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• Maintaining interpersonal working relationships among all personnel
• Must be licensed and able to drive all types and sizes of company vehicles
• Must be licensed with The Ohio State Racing Commission
• Excellent communication skills
• Must meet professional appearance standards as prescribed by company policy
• Must be able to respond to visual and oral cues
• Able to work at a fast pace in often crowded/noisy environment
• Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations including ability to push, pull, carry and lift up to 75 lbs., and the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces
