About the Job
The Bagger Operator Lead line will supervise all Bagger Operators and assist in executing the daily production needs to ensure that the product is produced on time while ensuring a quality product and the safety of the personnel and the equipment. Troubleshoot problems while applying theory and related knowledge. Provide guidance, and leadership and manage all supporting documentation needed to successfully train new and existing team members.
Duties and Responsibilities: (Includes but are NOT limited to the following).
- Direct leadership and oversight of Bagger Operator’s day-to-day tasks.
- Train new and seasoned operators in proper equipment operations and procedures
- Troubleshooting the common/known equipment issues and will conduct repairs as needed
- Work in collaboration with production supervisors, equipment operators, and coworkers to achieve maximum efficiency and throughput.
- Utilize this knowledge to effectively troubleshoot performance problems due to fruit and/or fruit-related mechanical issues.
- Ensure the highest possible up-time performance and unplanned downtime/machine breakdowns by effectively troubleshooting performance issues, continuous overhaul, and maintenance of subassemblies.
- Recommend or implement improvements to equipment, parts, processing, preventative, and predictive maintenance programs, etc. to reduce or eliminate repeated issues.
- Responsible for setting the PMO weekly schedules, cleaning schedules and any PM schedules.
- Maintains team morale by establishing and enforcing organization standards. Communicates personnel issues to management or HR as needed.

- Able to lead the team with little to no supervision
- Basic computer literacy skills
- Able to communicate effectively and clearly.

- Able to make decision in a fast fast-paced environment.
Education and/or Experience
High School diploma or general education degree (GED); related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Ability:
- Must always communicate clearly and cordially, and shall work collaboratively with all staff, vendors, auditors, and other business contacts.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of investors, vendors, customers, or employees of the organization.
Math Ability:
- Ability to calculate and understand figures and amounts such as percentages, area, discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, volume capacities, and financial proforma.
- Ability to apply simple financial concepts areas relative to the position.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to solve practical and complex problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Word; Superior Microsoft Excel skills including pivot tables, etc; and Microsoft PowerPoint and various internet communication software as well as syndicated data understanding. Sage or similar fully integrated ERP Systems experience is a plus.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is maybe exposed to wet or humid conditions (non-weather); may work near moving mechanical parts; and be apart to outdoor weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.
