Baltimore Electrical J.A.T.C. Local Union No. 24 Telecommunications Installer Tech Apprenticeship - Anne Arundel Workforce Development Corporation (AAWDC)

Backed by the Maryland Chapter, National Electrical Contractors Association and IBEW Local 24, our five-year electrical apprenticeship program offers an in-depth introduction to the wireman trade, taking students from craftsmanship through apprenticeship.

Each participant will receive on-site job training and classroom coursework to help them build a successful career. Apprentices will have the opportunity to work on-site with a NECA contractor, giving them the opportunity to learn first-hand. The on-site work will be supplemented by coursework developed using the Electrical Training Alliance curriculum.

Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures. Ensure that work is in accordance with relevant codes. May install or service street lights, intercom systems, or electrical control systems.
