Title of Position: Hotel Banquet Manager
Compensation: $65,000 to $70,000 plus 20% annual bonus and relocation allowance
Job Responsibilities: The Banquet Manager is responsible for executing food and beverage services for corporate, private, and social events throughout the hotel. They work closely with the Event Planning department to ensure the successful execution of events, oversee employee breaks, set-up, and breakdown, and act as a "Manager on Duty" during events. Additionally, they are responsible for interviewing, hiring, and training banquet and contract labor staff, conducting monthly department meetings, and scheduling all banquet employees within the approved budget. They work closely with the culinary staff to address service challenges and implement procedures to prevent them from occurring. Overall, the success of the Banquet Manager depends on their ability to work collaboratively with other members of the event planning team while also demonstrating strong leadership skills to manage and motivate their team. They play a critical role in ensuring that events are executed efficiently and effectively while providing guests with exceptional experiences.

Qualifications:
· Our Banquet Manager must have previous Banquet Manager experience in a full-service, high-volume hotel.
· Trust, honesty, integrity and a true passion for customer satisfaction is a requirement for the Banquet Manager
· The Banquet Manager must have a proven track record of managing food and labor costs
· Knowledge of industry trends, food & wine pairings, as well as coming up with new and fresh ideas are necessary for the Banquet Manager
· The Banquet Manager must have experience with corporate, business conferences, meetings and weddings
